A big thanks to Francesca Fisher! She wore her Christmas pullover on Christmas morn’, then sent us a piccy. Fantastic. The only problem is that we can’t for the life of us figure out what present the gentleman to her right is opening. Half a BMX handle-bar? A massive liquorice allsort? A jolly Cosh? Arghhh…please, somebody, end our torture!
Welcome to
Proud of My Pullover.
A website dedicated to those beautiful big-knits you get at Christmas. For some crazy reason, a lot of people find Christmas jumpers embarrassing and only wear theirs once out of guilt. But not the fine, enlightened people below - they love wearing their jumpers and have sent in photographs to prove it. Join our woolly movement and send your pictures and a brief message to photos@proudofmypullover.com

Vibrating man dons jumper…

…either that or the picture’s a bit blurry. Either way, this is Alex. And as you can see, nothing was going to stop him wearing his Christmas jumper this year, even though it appears to be 10 sizes too small for him. Thanks for the photo Alex - have a great 2008!

J’aime mon pull de Noël.
Mon Dieu, Melinda Varley took her pullover to Paris on the Eurostar! Here she is modeling it near to the Eiffel Tower with matching beret. Magnifique Melinda! She enjoyed wearing her pullover for the entire Christmas period, but was kind enough to let someone else have a go while she made the biggest Turkey that’s ever been. Melinda says her jumper “…attracted a lot of attention. I think everyone was jealous”. We don’t think they were jealous Melinda, we know it.

Jumper invasion.

This is Jan and Rich - apparently they’re massive Christmas jumper fans and like to wear them wherever they go in the world. Well that’s great to hear…but just remember lads, this isn’t colonial times and you can’t just go claiming land for Britain willy-nilly, jumpers or no jumpers.

A dog’s not just for Christmas, it’s for dressing up too.
A new landmark - animals wearing Christmas sweaters! We’re welling up, it’s just too much. The great thing about the pic is not only will the jumper keep this little fella warm, but because the Santa face is on his bum, other dogs can enjoy it too!

Musical Jumpers.

It’s not only the fashion world that are taking Christmas jumpers to heart (see below) - now musicians are getting in on the act too. The Killers decided to wear some cracking pullovers in the video for their new Christmas single! Watch it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqKXGeV6-Wk

Jumper shrinks man.
Only messing. This is little Rhys Richards who has joined in with the festive fun, even though it’ll be years until his pullover fits. How’s that for commitment to the cause? Well done young sir. We hope you will go on to inspire a new generation of jumper fanatics.

We’re officially ‘in’.
Seems as though we’re riding a wave of Christmas Jumper lovin’. Look what yesterday’s Sunday Times Style Magazine had to say about them. Today, this Blog. Tomorrow, the catwalks of Paris and Milan.

Females fight back.
We were getting a little bit worried that pullovers only appealed to the male sex. Bang, how wrong were we? Here are seven ladies all wearing theirs with pride. We don’t have names, but thanks for the pic girls - you’re all looking great.

Friday night and the lights are low…
Here’s a picture of Fergus McCallum wearing his pullover in a Karaoke bar. A lovely snap we’re sure you’ll agree. But wait…look a little bit closer. Fergus isn’t just wearing a pullover in a Karaoke bar, he’s wearing a pullover in a Karaoke bar while singing Abba’s Dancing Queen. My, my Fergus. My, my.
